Obituary

BUKIRCH- Of Malden, May 11th, Jean M. (Turpin). Devoted wife of the late Leon Bukirch and Edward F. Conroy. Beloved mother of Karen Anderson of Everett, Robert Bukirch of Waltham, Stephen Bukirch of Lynn, Debbie Rine of Bumpass, Virginia, Edward F. Bukirch, Sr. and his wife Judith of Saugus and Joyce "Dolly" Amato and her husband Richard of Malden. Dear sister of A. Frances Turpin of Malden and the late John, Ralph and Robert Turpin. Cherished grandmother of Christina Bukirch, Michelle Amato, Alicia Amato, Kristen Amato, Edward F. Bukirch, Jr. Angelea Bukirch, Lisa Rine and P.J. Rine. Also lovingly survived by her great grandchildren Dylan, Markis and Dominic as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Saturday, May 15th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Forestdale Cemetery, Malden. A longtime Malden resident, Jean passed away at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital Tuesday afternoon at the age of 83. For many years she worked as a waitress at the Linden Dairy in Linden Square, Carroll's Diner in Medford and at the Monarch Diner in Saugus. She was active in the Malden Senior Centers bowling league known as the Graham Cracker League.
