Obituary

Julia A. (Paradiso) Murray, 74 of Norfolk died January 14 in the Milford Regional Medical Center following a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of John T. Murray for the past 54 years.
Born in Staten Island, New York, September 22, 1934, the daughter of Vincenza (Valentino) Paradiso of Wrentham and the late Alexander Paradiso, Mrs. Murray had lived in East Boston and Roslindale prior to moving to Norfolk 28 years ago.
Mrs. Murray had been employed by the Polaroid Corporation for over 20 years, retiring as a floor supervisor.
Mrs. Murray enjoyed vacationing in Maine and New Hampshire, camping, shopping, cooking and loved being with her family.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children, Karen A. Andrewzusky and her husband, Gerard of Franklin, John L. Murray of Mansfield and Kevin A. Murray and his wife, Linda of Mansfield.
She was the sister of the late Leonard Paradiso.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Billy, Julie and Jenn Andrewzusky of Franklin and Kevin Jr. and Krystina Murray of Mansfield.
She is also survived by her cousin and best friend, Julie Bradley of Walpole.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, January 17 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Jude’s Church, 86 Main St. in Norfolk at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Norfolk Cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 5-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Cancer Center at Milford Regional Medical Center, 14 Prospect St., Milford, MA 01757.
