Obituary

John A. Pulsinelli, 82, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Sunday, August 15, at the Carney Hospital in Dorchester after a period of failing health. He was the beloved husband of 58 years of Marion J. (Cantillo) Pulsinelli. Born in Boston, he was raised in Roxbury and attended Boston Schools. He was a WWII Veteran of the US Navy. Mr. Pulsinelli worked as a Foreman for Central Cornice and Roofing in South Boston for over 39 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of the Sons of Italy in Stoughton. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, watching the Patriots and feeding birds in his birdfeeders.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Gloria Marco and Joanne McGloin and her husband Brian all of Stoughton. He was the grandfather of Nikki Marco and Brian, Tina and Angie McGloin. Mr. Pulsinelli was the great grandfather of Eric and Tony Marco and Anthony and Dominic McGloin. He was the brother of Marie Palmieri of Bridgewater, Viola MacLean of Abington and the late Robert, Samuel, Vincent, Panfilo, Virginia Standrick, Ida MacLoud, Josephine LaPointe and Anna Murphy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Thursday, August 19 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
