Scott - please accept my condolences on Jim's passing and extend the same to his family - I am not sure if I can attend the wake or services. I worked with Jim for more than 25 years at the IRS. Jim was a great guy and was always first in line to help anyone at any time - I know he helped me a great deal. I was very saddened when I received your notice and will be praying for Jim.

Jim was one of the few people that gave everything to his job. He was always there to help in every way that was possible. He only retired three years ago and never fully enjoyed his retirement. I was devastated when I learned that he had passed away. Just like all who knew him, he will greatly be missed. God bless you Jim. Now you can look down and help us all. Will never forget you. Always in my prayers.

Jim always had the time to help even though he had many deadline pressures. He attended many meetings of the IRS-CPA Association and provided members continuing education credit with a two-hour talk on TEFRA matters on March 8, 2010. He will be very much missed.

I want to convey my condolences on the passing of Jim. I never worked directly with Jim but had many dealings with him, on both a business and personal basis. A number of us, including Jim, recently got together at Santarpio's on March 11 for our regularly scheduled pizza fest. No one knew then that for most of us, that was the last time we'd see Jim. While with the IRS, Jim was an expert in TEFRA matters but more importantly, Jim was a great guy. It's hard to believe he is gone. He will be missed.

My condolences to Jim's family. I am deeply saddened by the news of Jim's passing. Jim was such a nice and caring person. We worked together for many, many years. I just saw him in March at a former co-workers retirement party. I drove him home and we agreed to keep in touch and have lunch when the weather got warnmer. Who knew that would be the last time??? So very sad. I will surely miss him. Jim, may you Rest In Peace.

I've missed Jim since he retired and to have that retirement cut short is tragic. Jim always had an open hear for a question and we enjoyed many laughs over the years. Scott, my sincerest condolences to you and the rest of Jim's family.
