Dear Sue and family, Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather. Dale will be sorely missed by all of us here at the MGH IHP Aphasia Center. He was very important to us here and the image of his smiling face and the sound of his laugh when he told a joke or made a self-deprecating comment, will always remain with me. I feel I am a better person for having known him and I hope your own memories of him will sustain you through this difficult period. With love, Marjorie

Burlington, MA,
We were hoping to be able to stop by and pay our respects to Dale and your family, but Rich was not feeling well. We will always remember the always cheerful Dale. He was there when we first arrived at both BU and MGH and there was always a smile and a cheerful greeting. We will also remember how much he enjoyed the young children who came to the clinic. We will miss him!

To Dale's Family, Dale was a wonderful friend and inspiration to me at the Aphasia resource Center. He talked to me of his wonderful grandchildren, showed us their pictures. The joy of a very proud Father and Grandfather beamed all around him. I'm sad for your loss and my condolences to you all. -Karen

As a member of the Aphasia COmmunity Group, I came to know Dale through through the Group's monthly meetings at Sargent College. Although Dale was impaired by the effects of a stroke and had aphasia, he was a gentleman and had a sense of humor. My sympathy to Dale's family, in particular to his wife, who accompanied him to meetings. Ellin Sarot
