Obituary

Francis X. Fagan, 53, died suddenly on Monday, December 7, 2009. He was married to Maureen Welsh-Fagan for twenty-five years. He was born and raised in Weymouth and was a graduate of Weymouth South High School (1974) and Bridgewater State College (1983). He worked as the Director of Client Services for Triton Technologies, Inc., in Easton for several years. A handyman, in his free time, he enjoyed walking his dog, attending his daughter’s dance performances and his son’s wrestling matches, and playing chess, golf and ping-pong. He was also an avid Boston sports fan.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Joan E. Fagan of Quincy and Christian A. Fagan of Easton. He was the son of Mary (McBride) Fagan of Weymouth and the late Arthur Fagan. Francis is survived by his mother, his brothers Joseph, Paul, Kevin, Tommy, Michael, Peter, Larry and David Fagan; and his sisters Judy Byrne, Patty Burke, Nancy Hilliard and Regina Catania. He was predeceased by his brothers Christopher and Robert. He is also lovingly remembered by a host of nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews, as well as Kevin Smith of Quincy.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Cross Church, Easton at 9 AM. Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, December 11 from 4-8. Donations in Francis’s name may be made to The Division of Sports Medicine, Children’s Hospital, 319 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA 02115.
