Obituary

Lawrence, MA- Connie M. (Turrisi) Pizzano, 90, died on Thursday, October 30th after a courageous battle at the Mary Immaculate Nursing and Restorative Center in Lawrence, surrounded by her family and special friends, amidst the joy and warmth of those she loved.

A life long resident of Methuen, Connie was born in Lawrence to Gaetano and Grace (Fazio) Turrisi. Connie was educated in Lawrence schools and worked 44 years as an inspector for Tire Rubber which later became Converse. She was an attendant of Corpus Christi-Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence and also a member of the American Legion post 122 in Methuen. Connie was the caretaker of the family who relished cooking for her loved ones, offering her support and anything else they needed. She was also an avid reader who enjoyed crocheting, painting, and ceramics.

The widow of the late Pasquale “Pat” Pizzano, Connie leaves behind her two daughters, Patricia and her husband Nick Milley of Andover, Ann Marie and her husband Peter Krusell of Methuen, one sister Lillian Rose of Methuen, three beloved grandchildren, Christa and Nicholas Milley and Alison Krusell as well as several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her loving siblings, Joseph Turrisi, Betty D’Urso, and Gloria Wilkerson.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and Friends may pay their respects on Friday, October 31st from 4-8 and Saturday 10- 12:30 at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home on 233 Lawrence St. in Methuen. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, November 1, 2008
