Janese DeVeer, 70
Dateline: Plainville, MA Janese DeVeer, age 70, of Plainville, formerly of Needham, passed peacefully on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Wingate at Norton. Born in Boston, MA on October 17, 1946, she was a loving daughter of the late John W. and Emily (Wilcox) DeVeer. Janese grew up in Needham and was a graduate of Needham High School. She went on to graduate from Chamberlain College where she majored in Interior Design. Janese worked as a bank appraiser and had formerly been employed in the insurance industry. She was a Roman Catholic who loved her pet cats and whose hobbies included art. She was the dear sister of the late Roger DeVeer and is also survived by her sister-in-law Marilyn Belau of Danbury, Wisconsin and her nephews, Erik DeVeer and his wife Jessie of Poulsbo, Washington State and Greg DeVeer and his wife Kelsie of Bellingham, Washington State. A private graveside funeral service followed by burial took place at the Mosswood Cemetery in Cotuit. Visiting hours were omitted and those wishing may remember Janese with a donation in her memory made to the Friends of the Plainville Seniors, 9 School St., Plainville, MA 02762.
