John B. Robinson of Walpole, formerly of Canton passed away March 14th at the South Shore Hospital. Born and raised in Fall River, he graduated from Durfee High School and Bentley College with a degree in Accounting. He was a Navy Veteran of WW II and worked as an Accountant for Nynex for over 35 years and retired in 1983. He was an active member of the United Church of Christ in Canton and was an avid golfer and bowler. Beloved husband of the late Muriel E. (Hughes). Father of David J. and his wife Marla of Hanover and William G. and his wife Ann of Brockton. Grandfather of Andrew, Jillian and Brian Robinson all of Hanover and Mary and John Robinson of Brockton. Brother of the late Mildred Barlow, Marjorie, Frank and Kenneth Robinson. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday 6-8 pm. Funeral service at the United Church of Christ 1541 Washington St. Canton Wednesday morning at 11. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Navy Veteran of WW II.
