Beatrice Wager of Harwich, MA formerly of Provincetown, died Wednesday, June 22nd at Cape Cod Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Alphonse F. Wager who died in 1996. Born in East Boston, she was the daughter of the late Leander and Mary De Costa. She was predeceased by two brothers, Leander and Manuel De Costa and 3 sisters, Eleanor Hennessey, Gertrude Verdi and Florence Nelson. She is survived by several nieces and nephews including Deborah and Anne Castricum of Harwich. She was a granddaughter of Captain Manuel Costa who raced his schooner, the Jessie Costa, in the Lipton Cup Race against the Rose Dorothea. Services are private.
