Richard J. ‘Dick’ O'Meara, 67 of Medford, died Friday after a brief illness in the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA.

Born and raised in Somerville, he lived in Medford most of his life and was the son of the late Louise (Silva) and Henry C. O'Meara. A 1961 Don Bosco High School graduate. Dick was the Proprietor of Paragon Press and Office Products in Everett since 1965. He was a member and Past President of the Everett Rotary, A Paul Harris Fellow, Massachusetts Charitable Mechanics Association, member and trustee of the Fraternal Order of Masons Orient Lodge Norwood, Massachusetts. He also was an Officer in the Massachusetts Army National Guard.

Beloved husband of Gail (Fontaine) O’Meara. Devoted father of Cathleen E. O’Meara of Medford, Brian C. O’Meara and his wife Kate of Knoxville, TN. Loving grandfather of Naomi and Emmett O’Meara of Knoxville, TN. Brother of Henry ‘Hank’ O’Meara of Beverly. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 9 AM.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Visiting hours Tuesday 4 - 8.

Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
