Eugene E. LeBrun, 81, died Thursday morning, January 20, 2011 following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Margaret (Tegan) (Keeler) LeBrun.
Born in Lynn on Oct. 28, 1929, he was the son of the late Almon and Helen (Melanson) LeBrun. He was raised and educated in Lynn and had been a Danvers resident for many years.
Mr. LeBrun was employed as a home builder and property manager in Danvers for many years.
He was a hard worker and good provider for his family, with whom he enjoyed spending time.
He is survived by two children, Gail Fifield and her husband Daniel of Poland Spring, Maine and Robert LeBrun and his wife Ann of Beverly, three step-children, Susan O’Donnell of Stoneham, Maribeth Ouellette and her husband Robert of Danvers, and Daniel Keeler and his wife Dorinda of Maine, a sister, Theresa Bellevue of New Hampshire, two grandchildren, Kellie Dury and Matthew Fifield, 8 step-grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his former wife, Elizabeth (Hultgren) LeBrun.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 11AM in Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery, Middleton. Visiting hours are Sunday from 4-7PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Donations in Mr. LeBrun’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
