Judy Ann Wright, 69, of Fitzgerald, Georgia died Sunday, November 21, 2010, at Dorminy Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 24, 2010, in the Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Clayton Dowd officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Ms. Wright was born April 17, 1941 in Fitzgerald, Georgia to the late Robert Lee Wright and Myrtle Harp Woods. She attended Fitzgerald High School and was a weaver at the Fitzgerald Cotton Mill for over 20 years. She received her CNA training from East Central Tech and worked as a CNA at Fitzgerald Nursing Home. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Ms. Wright is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Leonard & Susan Wright of Brunswick and Randy & Twila Wright of Stockbridge; grandchildren: Bradley Wright, Corey Lucas, Sabrina Wright, William Wright, Kyler Wright, Jessica Amerine, Kathleen Rogers, Terry Rogers, Jr., Heather Busby, Timothy Busby, and Eddie Burnett; great-grandchildren: Cass Burnett, Blake Burnett, Kirsten Amerine, Karissa Burnett, Leeah Patterson, Lolla Busby, Levi Pinchen, and Logan Pinchen; brothers: Danny Woods of Fitzgerald, Robert Wright, Albert Wright, and Rufus Wright, all of Alabama; sisters: Helen Jones of Roanoke, Alabama, Thelma Hodge, Alice Holk, Mary Nell Stone, and Ruth Wright, all of Alabama, and Loretta Ogletree of LaGrange; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Anthony Wright.
