Mrs. Reba Hughes Lee, 93, of Fitzgerald, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010 in Richmond, Virginia.
Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Saturday, August 14, 2010 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mike Ruffin officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lee was born November 24, 1916 in Abbeville, Georgia to the late Fred and Ina Howell Hughes. She was a graduate of Fitzgerald High School. Mrs. Lee was a retired telephone operator. She worked for G.T.E. and General Telephone. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lee is survived by her daughter & son-in-law: Pamela & David McMahon of Richmond, VA; sons & daughter-in-law: Bobby & Laverne Lee of Fitzgerald and Freddy Lee of Waycross; granddaughters: Katy McMahon of Nashville, TN, Lisa (Jeremy Hauser) Lee of Richmond, VA and Amanda (Lee) Renfroe of Fitzgerald; great granddaughter: Lily Belle Renfroe of Fitzgerald; sister: Margaret Watkins of Fitzgerald. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Lee.
