Moultonboro, New Hampshire-----Margaret L. Plumley, 78, of 48 Wentworth Shores Road, died at her home on Sunday, July 25, 2010.
Mrs. Plumley was born December 6, 1931, in Taunton, Mass., the daughter of Herbert and Nina (Stevens) Baker. She lived in Monson, Mass for several years and was employed at Armata’s Food Store for over twenty years before retiring in 1989. She moved to Moultonboro eleven years ago.
Mrs. Plumley was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Monson, Mass and was a member of the United States Power Squadron. Her hobbies included snowmobiling, motorcycling, boating and auto racing.
Survivors include her husband of sixty years, Richard R. Plumley, of Moultonboro; a son and daughter-in-law, William R. & Terri Plumley; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rosemarie E. and Rick Troie and Linda J. and William Brown; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Eugene S. and Barbara Baker and several nephews, and nieces. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Plumley was predeceased by two brothers, Edwin and Stanley and by three sisters, Rose, Charlotte and Agnes.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 11:00AM at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H. Rev. John Davies, Community Health & Hospice Chaplain, will officiate.
Burial will follow at 1:00PM in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, N.H.
