Glenna Jean Piersall, 83, Clarksville, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at her residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with with the Rev. Tom Youngblood officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born Jan. 6, 1927, in Blackey, KY, the daughter of William Piersall and Mattie Shepherd Piersall. She was a member of First Christian Church, National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Murray State Alumni Association, and the Kentucky Colonel Association.
She retired from the R.F. Sink Library at Ft. Campbell, KY. She is survived by one sister Euna Mae Caudill of Indianpolis, IN. and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Eugene Young, Edward Ford, Mike Dickson, Drew Graham, Jim Hancock and Freeman Hughes.
