Obituary

Irene B. Stelmach, 89, of Manchester died, April 16, 2009 at Elliot Hospital.
She was born February 17, 1920, in Chartierville, Quebec, and was the daughter of Emile and Albine(Duquette) Beaudoin.
For over twenty years, Irene worked as a weaver at Velcro USA. Following her retirement, she volunteered for many years at the Elliot Hospital, knitting caps for newborns. Her other hobbies included crocheting and tatting.
She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.
Irene was a gifted seamstress who specialized in creating bridal gowns and bridesmaid dresses. She enjoyed being with friends, playing bingo, and traveling to Connecticut.
IN HER LIFE: Family members include three children; Richard Stelmach and his companion, Mickie Lansil, of Hooksett, Paul Stelmach and his wife, Lucille, of Manchester, Philip Stelmach and his wife, Doreen, of Manchester; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; three brothers, Lionel Beaudoin of Canada, Maurice Beaudoin of Manchester and Gerard Beaudoin of Hooksett; three sisters, Gertrude Morin of Minnesota, and Doris Ducharme and Aline Gagnon both of Manchester; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Denise Stelmach, and her husband, Stanley Stelmach.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at St Raphael Church, 103 Walker St. Manchester.
Burial followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Goffstown Rd. Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Prosthetics Outreach Foundation, 400 E. Pine St., Ste. 225, Seattle WA 98122-2300.
