Dorothy L. “Dolly” McMorrow 92 years of Brockton died Monday February 2, 2009 at BayPointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a period of failing health. Born in Brockton a daughter of the late John and Blanche (Ward) McMorrow, Dolly was a graduate of Brockton High School and remained a lifelong resident of the city. Prior to her retirement she had been employed for many years by Stall & Dean Sporting Goods Manufacturing in Brockton.
Dolly enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, ceramic classes and dining out and had been a longtime communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
She was the sister of Janet Andrews and her husband Virgil of North Easton and the late M. Grace Roy, Rosamond Kane, Viola Olson , John McMorrow and Clifton McMorrow. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes at 9 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-7 pm. Donations in Dolly’s name may be made to Beacon Hospice 45 N. Main Street Fall River, MA 02720.
