Shirley (Mannion) Bilodeau, 72, a resident of Methuen, MA. died Saturday, April 5th, 2008 at the Caritas Holy Family Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born at the Lawrence General Hospital on September 15th, 1935 to Phillip M. and Gladys (Petzold) Mannion. She was educated in the Metheun Public School System. She worked as the Lunch Lady for Methuen East Middle School. Mrs. Bilodeau worked for some 20 plus years as a cook and bartender for the Pizza Pub and also as a Bartender for over 20 years for the Rocky Club in Lawrence, MA. She was a member of the English Social Club, Kosa's Women's Auxiliary, and the Rocky Club. According to her family Shirley loved to collect Snow Babies and attending American Idol Concerts.
She is the wife of the late: Norman (Chicky) Bilodeau. She is survived by her daughter Lisa (Bilodeau) Andruss, Her husband John and her two grandaughters Mia and MacKenzie all of Mechanicsville, Virginia. Her son Brian and his wife Mary, and her grandson Finn Bilodeau of Methuen, MA. Her mother Gladys Mannion of the Mary Immaculate Nusing Home and predeceased by her father Phillip (Mike) Mannion. Also her sisters: Pam Davidian of Marlborough, N.H. Diane Wall of Northwood, N.H. Carol Penny of Brooksville, Florida and Pat Allain of Ft. Myers, Florida, her brothers: Jimmy Mannion of Methuen, MA. Tommy Mannion of North Andover, MA. Gary Mannion of Metheun, MA. and Eddie Mannion of Canada. as well as numerous nieces and nephews Predeceased by: Dennis, Billy, and Chucky Mannion.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Monica Church in Methuen, MA. on Thursday, April 10th, 2008,At 9:00AM. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
