Obituary
Kenneth E. Kendall of Brockton died Thursday at Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health. Born and raised in Rockland, he was a son of the late Harold and Muriel (Beal) Kendall and was a graduate of Rockland High School. Mr. Kendall had been in the banking business for many years as Assistant Vice President of the National Bank of Plymouth County and manager of their Hingham office. He was also Vice President of Merchants Savings Bank of Manchester, New Hampshire and retired as Assistant Vice President of the loan department at the Abington National Bank retiring in 1992.
He enjoyed playing the piano and accordion and was a member of the John Cutler Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Abington for 49 years.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis (Henshaw) Kendall, a daughter Gail S. Kendall, two nieces Joy Pierce of Brockton and Sheri Balzarini of Bridgewater and two nephews Duane McGrath of Brockton and Brian McGrath of Maine. He was the brother of the late Harold Kendall, Norma Lawson and Doris Cote.
