Jeanne Marie (Rush Dawson) Cotner, 75, of Anderson died May 12, 2019 at St. Vincent Anderson following an extended illness.
Jeanne was born December 30, 1943 in Cambridge Springs, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Carman and Annabel (Thomas) Dawson.
She was a beautician at several hair salons, ending her 25 year career at His & Hers.
She enjoyed eating out, shopping, cooking with her husband, working puzzles and cross stitch.
She is survived by her husband, DeWayne Cotner of Anderson; three daughters, Teressa Lynn (Karl) Spenard, Deborah Ann (James) Murdock and Barbara Sue (Rex) Van Briggle; sister, Kathy Ann Bond, brother, Kent A. Bond; seven grandchildren, Cassie Evelyn Murdock, Rachel Marie Van Briggle, Sarah Nicole Claxon, Ashley Nicole Murdock, Justin Matthew Claxon, James Michael Murdock and Briana Lynne Rumsey; five great grandchildren, Amelia Marie Delgado, Johnathan Elias Estrata, Rylan Keith Claxon, Cole Matthew Claxon and Noah Lionel Claxon.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her mother, Annabel Dawson, father, Carman Dawson, father-in-law, Meril A. Cotner and mother-in-law, Dorthy Cotner.
Services will be held 1 p.m. on Friday, May 17. 2019 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Mike Whiteman officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday prior to the service.
Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Riley Children's Hospital.
