Anita Faye Sams, 84, of Anderson passed away March 19, 2019 at Community Hospital in Anderson surrounded by family.
She was born December 4, 1934 in Sturgis, Michigan to Charles Landis and Mary Elizabeth (Smith) Moore and attended Daleville High School.
She retired in 1984 from Delco Remy after 33 years of service.
Anita is survived by her husband of 41 years Mack E. Sams; brother Robert E. Moore (wife, Betty); daughters Karla Morton, Beth (husband, Frank) Garcia, and Joni (husband, Paul) Novak; stepdaughters Debbie Webb, Jody Zirkle, and Terrie Collins, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers Anita has requested donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 10 AM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Millers Cemetery in Middletown. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
