Howard Lee Dunham, 86, of Anderson, died peacefully at home on February 27, 2019
Howard was born October 12, 1932 in Anderson, the son of Harrold and Muriel (Conner) Dunham.
Howard was employed with Delco Remy retiring in 1992.
He was a member of Chesterfield Christian Church, Chesterfield Optimist Club, Master Mason with the Daleville Masonic Lodge, Cub Scout Leader of Pack 231.
Howard served in the United States Air Force.
Howard is survived by his spouse, Ruth Hamilton; four children, Bruce (Teresa) Dunham, Tim (Debbie) Dunham, Lisa Stanley, Julie (Dean) Thurston; eight grandchildren, Christopher Dunham, Hillary Dunham (Andrew Counceller), Erin Thurston, Shelley Dunham (Gabe Bailey) Sarah (Kevin) Young, Jordan Stanley (Sullivan Bortner) Samantha (Jordan) Dunn and Jacob Thurston (Payton Schatz); two great grandchildren, Tatum Dunham Counceller and Lyndon Dunham; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death his parents, his wife, Joan Dunham, his son, Brian Dunham, and a granddaughter, Shelby Thurston.
Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Ned Clark officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
