Lee James Pancol

Lee James Pancol, 50, passed away February 7, 2019 at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio from complications of multiple sclerosis.

He was born on December 15, 1968 in Anderson, the son of James and Tula Pancol. He graduated from Anderson High School in 1988 and attended Ball State University. He was the co-owner and operator of Deluxe Donuts for the past 20 years, where he enjoyed visiting with his customers on a daily basis. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Carmel. He was a collector of shot glasses and had a large collection of Universal Monsters. He enjoyed participating in many horror conventions. He was also known for playing "Santa" for more than 20 years for family and friends.

Lee is survived by his children, Andrew and Alexis Pancol; his parents, James and Tula Pancol; his sister, Doreen Pancol; his special niece and goddaughter, Stephanie (husband Jake) Wilson and his great nephew, Levi James; numerous relatives and friends and his fur baby and rescue dog, Daisy.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service officiated by Father William J. Bartz. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 2-7 PM at the funeral home and also one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday.

A Trisagion service will be conducted at 7PM on Wednesday evening.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Madison County Humane Society.
