Edmund A. Trabucco passed away peacefully on December 14, 2018. He was 102 years old.
Ed was a lifelong resident of Malden and former chief of police for the Malden Police Department. He was a longtime parishioner of Saint Peter’s Parish in Malden and a lifelong member of the YMCA.
Ed was the husband of the late Edith (DePerrio) Trabucco. He was the beloved father of Janice Berardi of Wakefield and Carol Scally of Stoneham and her late husband Bruce. Ed was the brother of the late Joseph Trabucco, Anna Notarangeli, Albert Trabucco, John Trabucco, Rocco Trabucco, William Trabucco, and Peter Trabucco. He was the cherished grandfather of Kathleen Bean and her husband Joseph, Lynne Allen and her husband Brett, James Scally and his wife Amy, and Jennifer Flynn and her husband Errol, and great grandfather of Joseph, Katlyn, and Victoria Bean, James, Olivia, and John Scally, and William and Caroline Flynn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday December 20th at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8pm. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
