James J. McCarthy of Hollis N.H. died December 8, 2018. He was 78 years old. He was a retired self-employed Master Electrician and life-time member of the Ames Rifle and Pistol Club. James was the devoted husband of Gertrude McCarthy (O’Toole). Loving father of Scott J. McCarthy and his wife Margaret of Halifax, Wendy E. McCarthy . Loving step-father of Karen Molloy of Bourne and Donna Nixon and her husband Glenn of Hollis N.H. Loving brother of the late Carol Banks. Proud grandfather of Sean Lanciani, Corey Lanciani, James McCarthy, Patrick McCarthy, John McCarthy, Maggie McCarthy, Rebecca McCarthy, Nolan Nixon, Brendan Nixon, and Jonathan Nixon. Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St, Canton on Friday, December 14th, from 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
