NATICK: Betsy J. (Perk) Kelley, 79, died peacefully on December 6, 2018 surrounded by her family following a brief illness.
She was born in Natick on February 21, 1939 the daughter of the late Herbert C. Phylis, Sr. and Priscilla H. (Felch) Phylis.
Betsy was the loving wife for 61 years of Ronald T. Kelley of Natick. Beloved mother of Beth Kelley and Susan Kelley Chartier both of Natick. Sister of Herbert C. Phylis of Upton and the late Richard Perk. Also survived by two granddaughters and two great-grandsons.
Betsy has been a lifelong resident of Natick and was a graduate of Natick High School. She was a very talented crafter in the art of soap making in many varieties. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed time spent with her family.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, daughters and grandchildren as being devoted to caring for them.
At the request of her family, there will be no visitations and services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, her family kindly suggests that memorial gifts in Betsy’s memory may be sent to the VNA of Natick, 209 West Central Street, Suite 313, Natick, MA 01760 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
