Obituary

Keith C. Cameron died suddenly at home in Malden on Saturday, December 1, 2018. He was 67 years old. Born in Richmond, VA, Keith was the beloved son of the late James L. and Evelyn (Banks) Cameron.

He graduated from Fisk University in Nashville, TN. Mr. Cameron took employment relocation to Massachusetts in 1995 and worked for Wallace Silversmith International, located in East Boston. He lived with his wife Tonya Cameron in Chelsea, MA for a short time before becoming a resident of Malden. Keith also worked for Lifetime Brands in Medford before retiring last year. Keith loved his job and he loved to travel, and his position allowed him to visit many places here and abroad, where he made many friendships along the way.

His favorite pastime was spending time with his family as well as his large extended family. Those were the things that made him smile, and smile big he did. In fact, he was a gentle giant and everyone that knew him loved him. Keith would do anything for anyone that asked. His heart was larger than life.

In his spare time Keith became acquainted with the game of golf, and it became one of his favorite pastimes. He loved sports, especially football, basketball and baseball. He also enjoyed going to Fenway for Red Sox games and traveling to Foxborough for the Patriots. Growing up in the DC area, he was still a Redskins fan at heart!!
He was also an amazing cook, which few people knew. Keith loved to read and got tremendous joy out of helping others reach their goals.

Keith is survived by his siblings, Daria, James “Butch”, Zenda and Eyrick Macio, his stepdaughter Dominique Stuckey and her children Omari, Zion and Bailey, his aunts, an uncle, many nieces, nephews and friends. Visiting Hours for Keith will be held in the AJ Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main St., Malden, on Thursday, December 6th from 6-8PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation will also be held in the Ebeneezer Baptist Church, 216 W.LeighSt., Richmond, VA on Tuesday, December 11 from 11AM-12noon, immediately followed by a Funeral Service. All are welcome to join the family in the church hall following services.
