James Earl Hollinger, age 68, of Water Valley, MS died Saturday November 10, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. He was born November 27, 1949 in Water Valley to the late Author and Charlene Hollinger and worked as a medical equipment supplier. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and his family. Along with serving his country in the Marine Corp, James was member of Delay Road Baptist Church.
Visitation is planned for Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Services will begin at 2:00 PM in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Donald Miller officiating. Burial will be in Delay Rd. Cemetery. James is survived by His wife of 47 years, Karen Hollinger; one daughter, Windy Cummings of Water Valley, MS; two sons, James Hollinger Jr. and Bryant Hollinger both of Water Valley, MS; two sisters, Peggy Grimmer from Oregon and Diane Musgrove from Washington; three brothers, Andy Hollinger of Fulton, MS, Chestine Hollinger and Aubrey Hollinger both of Batesville, MS; as well as ten grandchildren. Along with his parents, James was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Hollinger; and two sisters, Betty Melton and Mary Lois Melton. | ||||
