Robert L. Scott, 96, long time Chesterfield resident, died October 23, 2018 at Rawlins House in Pendleton.
He was born on March 4, 1922 in Dunkirk, Indiana, the son of George and Hattie (Cunningham) Scott. He graduated from Dunkirk High School in 1940. He served in the US Navy during WW II, and then worked for 37 years for Sears Roebuck and Company, retiring in 1984. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Anderson.
He is survived by his children, Gary (Diana) Scott of Fortville, Judith (Tom) Prichard of Kailua Kona, Hawaii and; his identical twin brother, Raymond (Rosamond) Scott of Anderson; grandchildren; Brady (Amie Kabara) Scott, Laurel (Kyle) Wooton, Jason (Donna) Prichard and Lisa (Matt) Pifer; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Scott , April 13, 2016. They were married for almost 70 years.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life at 3PM on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at First United Methodist Church, Anderson. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 1PM.
Memorial Contributions may be given to First United Methodist Church or Riley Children's Hospital.
