FRAMINGHAM: Wilfred W. “Junior” Nadeau, Jr., 67, died on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham following a brief illness.
He was born in Rumford, Maine on March 29, 1951 the son of the late Wilfred W. Nadeau, Sr and Frances Marion (Russell) Nadeau.
Junior is survived by his wife Franny (Landry) Nadeau of Framingham. He was the father of Barbara J. Welsh of Holden, Angela N. Chin of Gardner and step-father of Jimmy Beaucage of Ashland. Brother of Patricia A. Reardon of Boston; Mary-Lou Philbrick of Bellingham; Carol E. Johnston of Medway; Brenda M. Van Houten of Northbridge; Florence R. Nadeau of Ashland; Skip Nadeau of Natick and the late Wallace W. Nadeau. Also survived by four grandchildren, six nieces and four nephews. Uncle of the late Johany M. Nadeau.
He has been a resident of Framingham for many years and spent his formative years in Natick. Junior graduated from Natick High School with the Class of 1969. Prior to retiring, he was a laborer in the field of construction within the Metrowest area.
Visitations will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (off Rte. 30), Wayland.
Private family interment will be held at Lakeview Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, his family suggests that memorial donations in his memory may be sent to the charity of the donor’s choice.
