Eleanor "Joan" (Richardson) Barr, 82, of Middletown, died September 16, 2018 at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born February 18, 1936, in Anderson the daughter of Roy and Florence (Stone) Richardson. She worked inspection at Delco Remy 20 years and was a master gardener.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Dwight Barr, two children, Rick Craig and Terri Craig, three step-children, Dennis Barr, Cindy Barr and Jeff (Amy) Barr; three siblings, Don Richardson, Joyce Qualls and John Richardson; three grandchildren, Tiffany Barr, Alexis Barr and Colin Barr; great-granddaughter, Olivia Barr; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Alice Branch and Kay Smith and a brother, Tom Richardson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Memorial contributions may be given to Animal Protection League, Madison County Humane Society or Alzheimer's Association.
