Jack Macy

Jack Macy, 80, lost his long battle with Parkinson’s Disease on September 17, 2018.

He was born June 13, 1938 in Westfield. Jack graduated from Ball State University Teachers College in 1960 and was a member of the ROTC program. He was employed at Anderson High School for 36 years as a teacher, coach, Ticket Mgr. and Athletic Director. His hobby was rebuilding and exhibiting antique Chevrolet cars that won numerous National Awards. He served as an AACA board member for many years and was National President in 1983. His family was his ultimate passion and being there to support his grandchildren in all of their extracurricular activities was the highlight of his days. His humor and love will always be with us.

Jack is preceded in death by his brother Jim Macy and his son Mike Macy.

Jack is survived by his wife, Pam; son, Scott Macy (Donna), and sister, Susan Belveal; stepchildren Chris Leech, Carol Albano (Randy) and Jennifer Beery (Brad); grandchildren, J.T., Jake and Patrick Macy, McKenzie Albano, Lauren and Ryan (Hanna) Beery; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

His family wants to thank the wonderful and compassionate staff at Maple Park Village in Westfield, IN for their exceptional loving care and support.

Private graveside services will be at East Maplewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hamilton County Humane Society, 1721 Pleasant Street; Noblesville, IN 46060.
