Debra Ann McFatter, age 62, passed away at her home in Summerville, SC on September 8, 2018. She was born May 17, 1956 in Schlater, MS to Betty Matthews Butler and the late Thomas Dexter Butler. Her interests were many, which included shooting pool, reading romance novels and playing Gin Rummy. But nothing held a place in her heart like reading her Bible and spending time with her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm in the Appleton Room of Seven Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks at 2:00 pm with Bro. Jerry Smith presiding and Uncle Neal Butler reading a closing prayer. Interment will be in Robbs New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Pontotoc County. Debra is survived by one son, Christopher Thomas Beasley of Grenada, MS; her daughter, Amber Nicole McFatter of Grenada, MS; her mother, Betty Matthews Butler; four sisters, Linda Melton of Grenada, MS, Sheree Butler of Summerville, SC, Angela Infinger of Harleyville, SC, and Carolyn Butler of Grenada, MS; four grandchildren, Gage Beasley, Christa Beasley, William Reed Ingram and Erica Renee Potts, and three great-grandchildren. Debra was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Dexter Butler. | ||||
