Daniel A. Barnett, 58, died September 6, 2018 at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital in Indianapolis after an unexpected illness.
Daniel was born March 6, 1960, in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of Joseph A. and Janice (Daniel) Barnett.
He was employed as a sales representative for Marshall Best Security for the past 10 years. He previously owned Concentric Computer Services in Anderson.
He was an athletic official for various sports including: baseball, softball, volleyball, and basketball for 40 years. He was a member of USBC Bowling Association. He dedicated many years to coaching local youth leagues for basketball and baseball.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lou Ann (Hall) Barnett, his mother, Janice Barnett Stir of St. Petersburg, FL; daughter, Lauren Barnett of Brazil, IN; son, Mike (Mindy) Barnett of Anderson; grandson, Aiden Barnett.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph A. Barnett, in-laws, George and Juanita Hall.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Dr. Kerry Robinson officiating.
Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 12, from 3 to 7 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Christian Center.
