James Lee Brown, 76, of Roanoke, died at his residence after a brief illness.
He was born, December 8, 1941 in Delaware County, the son of Virgil and Ruth (Jones) Brown.
He worked assembly at Delco Remy for 34 years before retiring in 2008. He liked to fish.
He is survived by his wife, Anna (Sidwell) Brown whom he married June 21, 1986 in Anderson; five children, Scott (Cheryl) Brown of Indiana; Lisa Brown-Hoyt; Eric Brown, Laura Brown all of Muncie, Scott Walker of Michigan; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Dan Walker and a sister, Diane Bannon.
Service will be 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Loyce Webb of Gospel Light Chapel officiating.
Burial will follow in Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
