Billy Raymond Harrison, age 81, died peacefully Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in
Iuka, MS. He was born June 1, 1937 in Greenville, MS. to the late John and Margaret Langford Harrison. Billy received an art degree from Mississippi College and spent his career as a graphic artist and art director. He was a member of the US Chess Federation and enjoyed painting, fishing, sports and woodworking. He was also a member of the Presbyterian faith. The family will have a private visitation prior to the service on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. A 2:30 PM graveside service will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, also in Water Valley, MS. Billy is survived by his wife of 60 years, Norma Bennett Harrison of Corinth, MS (formerly of Water Valley); two sons, Bennett R. Harrison (Lita) of Newark, CA and Patrick T. Harrison (Debbie) of Batehaven, New South Wales, Australia; a sister, Betty Brown of Houston, MS; a brother, Don Harrison (Susan) of Memphis, TN; one grandson, Gabriel Harrison of Newark, CA; and one sister-in-law, Nancy Hart of Corinth, MS. | ||||
