Elaine ‘Chickie” (Hines) Sindoni, 75, died unexpectedly May 15, 2018 in Plant City, Florida. Elaine was the daughter of Frank and Florence (Caron) Hines. She was born in Salem and attended St. Chretienne Academy and graduated from Salem High School in 1960. Shortly thereafter she met and married her husband of fifty seven years, Steve Sindoni. They raised their children in Salem and relocated to Florida twenty five years ago. Elaine loved her family and friends and enjoyed entertaining them often at her homes in Salem and Florida.
In addition to her husband Steve, she leaves her daughter, Lisa and Ed Mango and her son, John Sindoni all of Florida, a son-in-law, Bill Capra of Salem, four grandchildren, Jennifer & Christopher Lapore and Christina & Nicholas Capra, A sister, Maureen Hines of Salem as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Elaine was predeceased by her daughter, Laurie Capra, a brother, Bernard Hines and a sister, Roberta “Robin” Robinson.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Immaculate Conception Church, 15 Hawthorne Blvd., Salem. Burial will be private.
