Dennis W. Rozumek

Dennis W. Rozumek, 75, of Middleton, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 at his home with his family by his side. He was the devoted husband of Patricia V. (Bishop) Rozumek with whom he shared 39 years of marriage.
Born and raised in Salem, he was the son of the late Walter S. and Rita (Caron) Rozumek. During the Vietnam War years Dennis served as a 2nd class machinist mate, overseas, aboard the USS Little Rock from 1961 to 1965 for which he earned the Bronze Man Award. Following his tour of duty he returned to Salem and worked as a tool and die maker. Over the years he owned and successfully ran several businesses, most notably Rozumek Products. An innovative man, he held several patents relating to different aspects of tool and die making.
Dennis was an easy-going and loving family man who possessed a great sense of humor and one- liners. He touched many people in his life and will be missed by family and his many friends.
In addition to his wife Pat, he is survived by his daughter Karen A. Mosman and her husband Daniel of Randolph, his son, Mark N. Melanson of San Francisco, CA, four grandchildren Bradley & Danielle Melanson and Troy & Devin Rozumek , as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sons, David Rozumek & Douglas Melanson and sisters, Patricia Swiniarski & Carole McCormick.
Relatives and friends are invited to his calling hours at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. All are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday the 7th at St. Agnes Church, 22 Boston St., Middleton 01949-2199 at 10.00 AM. Burial will be private.
