James Louis Troth, 81, of Anderson, went to be with the Lord on May 29, 2018.
He was born on August 20, 1936 in Richmond, Indiana, the son of Paul and Florence (King) Troth. He was employed in assembly at GM Delco Battery of Muncie for 30 years. He was a former member of Lindberg Road Church of Christ.
James served in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn (VanHorn) Slack Troth, whom he married March 31, 1982. He is also survived by 4 step children; Bill Planck of Noblesville, Sandy (Darwin) Leist of Lapel, Penny Berkley of Columbus and Scott Slack of Anderson; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a stepsons, Richard Slack and Robert Alan Slack.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Noon at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Ned Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family 2 hours prior to the funeral Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be given to Paralyzed American Veterans.
