Don Edward Brooks, 78, of Middletown passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018 at his residence.
He was born on April 20, 1940 in Scipio, IN, the son of Bert and Mary (Miller) Brooks. He was a fork truck driver for Delco Remy for 37 years, retiring in August of 2000. He was a member of Middletown Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by his wife, Janice (Newby) Brooks, whom he married April 6, 1962; daughter, Michelle (John) Baney; granddaughter, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Goodwin; great granddaughter, Piper Brooke Goodwin; brother, Robert (Marlene) Brooks and stepsister Bonnie Brown; nieces and nephews, Mike, Todd, Brian(Jill) Brooks, Steven (Meredith) Brooks, April and Amanda Brown.
Don was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 6:00 PM at the Middletown Church of the Nazarene with Dr. Philip C. Rogers officiating.
NO FLOWERS- the family prefers donations be given to the Delaware County Animal Shelter, Madison County Animal Shelter, Middletown EMTs or Middletown Church of the Nazarene.
