Troy Allen Layton, 52 years old passed away peacefully May 22, 2018 at Community Hospital from complications due to diabetes. Troy was surrounded by his loving family.
Troy was born to William N. and Sandra C. Layton on April 13, 1966. Troy was a lifelong resident of Anderson. He attended Park Manor School and worked for Pizza Hut. Troy loved to travel, fish, ride his moped and bike, watch Batman, Knight Rider, Dukes of Hazard. He loved family gatherings and Christmas.
Troy is survived by his parents, brothers, Tim (Patti) Layton of Alexandria, Todd (Shawn) Layton of Anderson, nieces and nephews: Chelsie, Cody (Alisha) of Anderson; Brent and Corey of Alexandria and Amanda (Phil) Thomas of Indianapolis; great nieces and nephews: Adrian, Zoey, Nazaya, Mila and Brayden; several aunts, uncles and cousins and special dog pal, Casper.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Veronica Lynn; grandparents, Ella & Julius Fillmann; Ernie & Mary Layton; Maxine & Joseph Armbrust; several aunts , uncles and cousins.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 26 at noon at First Baptist Church; 907 North Raible; Anderson, with Rev. Sherri Cochran officiating. Visitation will be from 10 am until the service Saturday at the church. Cremation will follow.
