R. Paul Waldner, 66, of Louisville, KY passed away at his home on May 16 , 2018. He was born May 13, 1952 in Louisville, KY to Earl and Jean (Walker) Waldner, who preceded him in death. His wife, Kathleen "Kitty" Waldner (Davis) preceded him in death as did his sister and brother-in-law Beth Ashley and Jerry Ashley.
Paul graduated from Bishop David High School in 1970 and retired after a long career at LG&E.
He will be greatly missed by his children, Karen Hodge (Mark), Toni Waldner (Tyson Smith), Louie McDuffie (Jill), Amanda Bell (Keith), Brian Waldner (Dr. Suzanne Meers); his sister, Gina Kern (Jerry); his brothers, Frank Waldner (Lin) and Dennis Waldner (Cindy); ten grandchildren and many lifelong friends.
A memorial celebration will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Memorial visitation will be 3:00 – 8:00 P.M. Saturday & after 12 noon Sunday.
