Vergil L. Hogan 91, passed away Sunday May 13, 2018 at Villas of Guerin Woods in Georgetown In. Born in Edmonson County he was an Army Air Corp veteran of WWII, retired from Brown Williamson Tobacco Company. He is preceded in death by his wife Ruby, son Stephen parents and several siblings. Survivors include his brothers; Roma and Roy Hogan, sisters Oma White, Pearl Cherry, Jane Frost and Jean Lindsey, step-son James Sturgeon and several nieces and nephews. His funeral will be 12 pm Thursday at Rockford View United Baptist Church 2511 Wilkerson Ave., with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation 1 pm to 8 pm Thursday and after 10 am on Thursday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway.
