Jane M. Steinberg, of Haverhill formerly of Burlington and Woburn passed away, May 9, 2018, at the Massachusetts General Hospital following a lengthy illness and battle with alcoholism. She was 57. Born in Winchester she was the beloved daughter of the late Dorothy F. (Meehan) and Duncan W. McKillop.

Jane was raised and educated in Woburn and was a 1978 graduate of Woburn High School. She worked for nearly thirty years in health care, starting as an office assistant and later working as the as the Practice Manager of Lexington Pediatrics where she was instrumental in supervising the practice's transition from a private care provider to its partnering with the Lahey Hospital and Health Care Center. In her leisure time, Jane enjoyed vacationing with family and friends in Vermont and Gloucester. She loved music, live music and dancing. Jane also loved animals and was especially fond of her late pet English Mastiff, "Molly".

Jane is survived by her devoted children, Jordan Steinberg of Jamaica Plain, Taylor Steinberg of Brighton, and Ethan Steinberg of Burlington. She was the former wife of Joel Steinberg of Florida. Cherished sister of Robert McKillop and his wife Linda of Woburn, Ann Martin and her husband Stephen of Woburn, Michael McKillop and his wife Ann of Salem, NH. Aunt of James, John and Matthew McKillop, Sarah and Katie Martin, Allison and Nicole McKillop, Drew Steinberg, twins Melissa and Peter Steinberg. Further survived by brother and Sister-in-law David and Janice Steinberg.

A funeral service will be conducted in the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Saturday, May 12th, at 1 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment services will be private.
