Larry A. Courtney, 74, of Anderson died March 9, 2018 from complications of Diabetes.
He was born June 9, 1943 in Henry County, Indiana, the son of Paul Eugene and Frances L. (Campbell) Courtney. He graduated from Mooreland High School in 1961.
He was employed as a set up man for 30 years at Delco Remy.
He enjoyed Coachman Camping Club, riding motorcycles and loved to sing in the church choir. He was a pilot prior to working for General Motors.
He is survived by his daughter, Candace Courtney of Las Vegas, NV; three stepchildren, Jennifer Bolton of Anderson; Sherry Byrns of Las Vegas and Daniel Cox of Fort Wayne; brother, Marion (Judy) Courtney of Pendleton; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jetta Nancy Courtney and a step-daughter, Rebecca Brown.
Funeral services will be at Mooreland Cemetery on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Toby Smith officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Diabetes Association.
