Robert J. Antonucci of Canton died peacefully February 28, 2018 after a brief illness. He was 80 years old. Bob was a retired DPW worker for the Town of Canton working for the water department for over 38 years. He was a devoted parishioner of St. James Church in Stoughton for many years, a former driver for the Canton Senior Center, a member of the Norwood Retired Men’s Club, a member of the Knights of Columbus council #2095, and was an avid golfer who also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Devoted husband for 53 years of Bernice “Bunny” Antonucci of Canton. Loving father of Lisa Hinkle and her husband Bob of Tewksbury, Thomas Antonucci of Azusa, CA, and Robert J. Antonucci Jr. and his wife Suzanne Stimler of Takoma Park, MD. Proud grandfather of Robert Anthony Antonucci, Michael Antonucci, Michelle Hinkle, Erica Hinkle, Curtis Antonucci and Cecelia Antonucci. Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St. Canton Sunday March 4, from 2-6 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 AM in St. James Church 560 Page Street Stoughton, MA 02072. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton.
