Peter J. Harrison Jr. of Canton died unexpectedly on February 21, 2018. He was 70 years old. Peter was born in Lowell, MA to the late Peter J. Harrison Sr. and Mary (Stenson) Harrison and was employed as a social worker for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for over 40 years. Beloved husband of Louise E. (Galvin) Harrison of Canton. Loving father of Beth Harrison and her partner Dan Staples of Canton, Peter William Harrison and his wife Kerry of Milford, CT, and Molly Harrison and her partner Tom Giaquinto of Canton. Brother of Michael F. Harrison of CA, John E. Harrison of Braintree, and Mary Driscoll of Milford, MA. Proud grandfather of Peter William Harrison Jr., Benedict B. Harrison, and the light of his life, Charlotte Louise Staples. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St Canton, Ma Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 3-6 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Gerard Majella Church 1860 Washington St. Canton, Monday at 10 AM. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton.
