Joan M. (Linehan) Roberts passed away unexpectedly in her loving family’s company on Sunday February 18, 2018. Joan raised her family in Milton and had been a longtime resident of the town. She was the the beloved wife of Michael L. Roberts of Milton and devoted mother of Tara J. Hutcheson and her husband John, Cordae M. Jones and her husband Michael, all of Milton, and Michael P. Roberts and his wife Renee and Curt M. Roberts and his wife Kerry, all of Canton as well as the cherished grandmother of Matthew and Christian Hutcheson, Ellie Rae and Michael Roberts, Michael and Camden Jones and Alexis and Ryan Roberts. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Hills Church, Milton Thursday morning, February 22, 2018 at 11. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Wednesday, February 21st from 4 to 8 PM. Burial in Milton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
