Donna Marie Lessard, 60, of Hudson N.H passed away Friday, February 16, 2018, in High Point Hospice, Haverhill, MA after a long battle with cancer. Donna loved being among friends and family. Whether traveling, going to concerts, or just sitting around her kitchen table laughing, sharing stories, and listening to good music; Donna most enjoyed spending time with those she loved. Born in Lowell, MA. on June 4, 1957, the daughter of Dana and Rose (Fournier) Lyon. Donna grew up in Tyngsborough, MA and then Pelham, NH. For many years she worked as a sales representative first at Pelham Building Supply in Pelham, NH and then Concord Lumber in Concord, MA. Those who worked with Donna knew her to be a fun, easy-going co-worker and good friend.
To those closest to her, Donna was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her mother Rose; her sisters, Laurie Lyon, Suzanne Lyon and Christine Powers; two nieces, Sarai Lyon and Amanda Lyon; her nephew, Jack Powers; her granddaughter, Mikayla Gilliam, and grandson Burley (Jay) Gilliam. Donna was predeceased by her father Dana and her niece, Kristie Lyon.
Donna was the type of person who would always be by your side whenever you needed her. She was there to help you in bad times and cheer your success in good times. She was beloved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
Following cremation, calling hours were held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 4pm to 6pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH. Memorial services followed at 6:00pm in the funeral home.
